Met deze roze fiets gaat "Pink Panther" Mathieu van der Poel op pad in de Giro
Mathieu van der Poel bekijkt het leven vandaag door een roze bril. Van der Poel won gisteren de openingsrit en verdedigt zijn roze trui vanmiddag in een tijdrit van 9,2 kilometer in Boedapest. De eerste maglia rosa heeft van fietssponsor Canyon een aangepaste tijdritbolide gekregen.
In de Ronde van Frankrijk van vorig jaar moest Alpecin-Fenix tot kort voor de tijdrit nog sleutelen aan het materiaal van Mathieu van der Poel, toen de gele trui. Hij eindigde in die chrono 5e. In deze Giro leek de bestelling tijdig voorbereid.
