Het coronavirus heeft flink toegeslagen bij Real Madrid. Nadat gisteren al Luka Modric en Marcelo positief getest hadden op het virus zijn daar vandaag nog 4 spelers bijgekomen.

Real Madrid heeft donderdag bekendgemaakt dat Gareth Bale, Marco Asensio, Rodrygo en Andrij Loenin een positieve coronatest afgelegd hebben. Ook assistent-coach David Ancelotti, de zoon van T1 Carlo Ancelotti, is besmet.

Zo dikt het aantal coronabesmettingen stevig aan. Gisteren testten ook Luka Modric en Marcelo al positief. Over de gezondheidstoestand van de besmette spelers liet Real zich niet uit.

Het team van Rode Duivels Thibaut Courtois en Eden Hazard is momenteel de leider in Spanje. Zondag won Real nog de topper tegen stadsrivaal Atletico met 2-0. Asensio maakte daarin het tweede doelpunt. Hij stond aan de aftrap, net als Modric. Rodrygo viel in.

De volgende competitiewedstrijd voor Real staat zondag op het programma, thuis tegen staartploeg Cadiz.
