Crystal Palace heeft geen 2e overwinning op rij kunnen boeken, ondanks een snel openingsdoelpunt van Christian Benteke. Southampton trok het inhaalduel nog naar zich toe met 3 doelpunten.

Rode Duivel Michy Batshuayi is op het achterplan verdwenen bij Crystal Palace, Christian Benteke is de eerste keus van coach Roy Hodgson.
